DJ TONE FRESH Biography DJ Tone Fresh, born Tony Evans, is a 30-year music veteran originally from the suburbs of New York City, and performs as a DJ, songwriter, lyricist and music producer. His musical versatility has allowed him to become an expert at mixing all music genres and master the art of being a well-rounded DJ specializing in classic hip hop, rhythm and blues, and soul music. Tone Fresh was labeled "your favorite music producers favorite DJ" because of his ability to seamlessly blend all genres of music and make it sound fresh and original. Remaining authentic to the hip-hop DJ culture and a master at cutting, scratching and blending has enabled him to keep rocking parties for all these years, subsequently becoming a member of the Universal Zulu Nation, which is a global organization that promotes the hip hop culture prominently known world wide. Tone Fresh has performed all over the world as a DJ affording many opportunities working with some of the best talent. In the late 80's, he was one of the first DJ’s from the U.S. to play hip-hop music in clubs all over Germany while he served in the Army. In the 90's he was the DJ for the rap group Two Kings in a Cipher where he toured, performed and rocked concerts and rap shows all over the country. Tone Fresh is also an accomplished music producer and song writer who has produced songs for Sean "P Diddy" Combs, “Come With Me” the remix, from the Godzilla movie soundtrack, the legendary rapper Kool G Rap, “The Bosses Wife" and has co-written the song “What’s Up Star” from Russell Simmons “The Show” movie soundtrack respectively. Currently, DJ Tone Fresh is a radio talk show host and DJ on WREK 91.1 in Atlanta Georgia were he books show guests and guest DJ’s, programs music playlists and produces, markets and promotes monthly parties at the club Sound Table in Atlanta GA. Tone Fresh also DJ’s at some of the Atlanta’s hottest concerts and clubs such as Aisle 5 and The Music Room. Tone Fresh is also part of a DJ company called the Kut Kings with his business partner DJ Bump City. The dual DJ group performs scratching and blending records simultaneously with 4 turntables, amazing crowds and are in the process of booking shows overseas. Their success has paved the way for an online radio station called Dopebeatsradio.net, which is a 24-hour radio station that specializes in authentic hip hop and soul music and is rapidly gaining fans nationally and worldwide. DJ Tone Fresh has achieved his Bachelor degree in Marketing and Advertising in 2015 from Strayer University to expand his musical brand and take his career to the next level.
